A Beautiful Bonus: To really know everything about the world of Horizon Zero Dawn you'll need to explore its outer reaches and collect every artifact and trinket you can. The result is a greater pressure on printed guides to offer beauty and substance, and to exist as complementary projects that stand on their own. Banuk Culling Bow: The Banuk claim a spiritual understanding of the Machines, and put their harvests of Machine parts to many uses. I bought the artbook, which was a bit of a let down because it doesn't show all the characters in the game, just a lot of concept art and no in game polygon models.

Overall, I can't say I can be any more satisfied with my purchase and it will be a long time before Aloy is moved off my shelf or my TV. And then that video where the girl slides down the rope with her bare hands instead of using her bow? Not that many pages in the book and yet they “waste” some pages on stuff like this, good looking and all but argh!

Well, the box is indeed black and pretty standard looking if not very boring compared to the in-game looks of the game, well, guess what, it is actually part of the story in the game and to some even a spoiler, it is all in the details. Little Aloy is already a loveable character, with special much emotion that you can really feel as you watch and move her through the open world. Nature and Machines Collide - Horizon Zero Dawn juxtaposes two contrasting elements, taking a vibrant world rich with beautiful nature and filling it with awe-inspiring highly advanced technology.

Every time i met a new person in the game i wanted to get to know them better, i never skipped a line or a movie in the game, it took me many hours before i used the fast travel function in the game as i just loved to walk around and look around and kill stuff. You can tell how long you've been playing by going to load a game save and it indicates time played. but then again, one could just fire up the game and enjoy it there as fast travel and screenshot mode will give you some amazing shots in just about every frame in the game. With such an awesome box art and in-game graphics means that the book will be like a million pages long and with 100s of fantastic looking pages right? Additionally, Horizon Zero Dawn will incorporate a photo mode to aid in capturing particularly riveting moments or picturesque vistas, and the game is omitting any semblance of microtranscations, which is pleasing news for gamers and their wallets. In the video, Guerilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst and art director Jan-Bart van Beek carefully uncrate the various items included in the collection, while discussing the inspiration and direction behind each piece. This is an unedited picture of Aloy, mostly because i wanted to show how the colours look when it is set in “normal lighting”, the depth of field is pretty deep here as you can see with the foreground (a watcher lens).

The Nora are extraordinarily skilled and inventive at using machine components in their own devices. Here you see some art from one of the better locations in the game, i won’t spoil it here but i must say that this is one of those side missions that you really must complete as the story is just brilliant. Horizon: Zero Dawn is set to release on February 28, 2017 in North America, and on March 1, 2017 in the United Kingdom, but will be exclusive to PlayStation 4. Sorry about giving Horizon Zero Dawn two scores, but it had to be done… this game is a must-have for everyone out there and a game that deserves to sell 10’s of millions. Inside the box was another box, i know, i know… it is becoming a trend by now but i like to comment it anyway because i like to be funny…. Language localization: English / French / Italian / German / Spanish / Portuguese / Russian / Arabic.

The backside of this black beast of a box is very well designed and a proper looker, but yes the same thing applies here, it might not look that cool to people who haven’t tried/completed the game. After struggling with 3 boxes (literally, thought it was a prank it felt as though it was never-ending) we unveil the statue.
