WH2004L is 20 characters by 4 lines LCD display module which is built in with ST7066 controller IC; its default interface is 6800 4/8-bit parallel. The on-board PICAXE-18M2 chip is provided pre-programmed with the open-source AXE133 firmware, which allows this on-board 18M2 chip to act as a 'slave' serial driver for the OLED display. This serial OLED kit includes a 20x4 OLED (yellow on black) together with a small 'serial interface' PCB fitted with a PICAXE-18M2 chip.

Fantastic LCD screen that works great with the Qwiic connectors as well as the breakout pins for I2C (have not tried SPI or serial). That means you can change the character display colors to anything you want - red, green, blue, pink, white, purple yellow, teal, salmon, chartreuse.

Some pictures of my setup, for now, ill try to migrate some stuff to a lcd 16x2 perhaps, since for that I have a gret box for putting all. Even after warranty our support team and service-center will continue help should you need assistance.
