About this deal

Plz note when I pan right the leds on the right of the VU meter light up and vice versa when I pan left indicating the signal is being routed correctly.

I’ve got it loaded with three 9V batteries (600 mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable) and can get 9 hours of use from a full charge - that should be plenty for most outdoor gigs, weddings, etc. They say it serves their needs perfectly, is the best mixer for a podcaster who doesn't need a ton of features, and is a good mixer for live sub mixing.

Great care has been taken to ensure accuracy in the preparation of this article but neither Sound On Sound Limited nor the publishers can be held responsible for its contents. The 1002B has a convenient 9 V battery capability allowing use in remote locations – where the nearest power outlet may be many miles away!

I bought this for my L1 Bose system because I need a couple more inputs for my live show for bass guitar and Cajun mic. I was in the recording world a long time ago, but now im retired and I want to play again but mainly just for fun as my hearing is now damaged, however I do not let that stop me, I'm also wheel chair disabled and I don't let that stop me either! And the worst part is that the screw doesn't have a retainer, so it is very easy to lose the screw, especially if you have to change batteries in a dark setting. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating is that the battery compartment is only accessible with a screw driver. With close to one million units sold, the XENYX mixer series has become one of the most popular mixer series of all times that has no doubt connected musicians all over the world. This is becoming common--when one of my studio monitors died, a Dynaudio unit, TC Electronic refused to give (or sell) my tech a schematic he could use to fix it.

They are for representative purposes only and often show other items to indicate how the product can be used, accessories that are available or other models in the same range. Switchable phantom power for condenser microphones with long-wearing 60 mm logarithmic taper master fader and sealed rotary controls. Check the chips but I don't think going for an 15V supply would hurt but check the electro-caps are 16V minimum.

As a result, they have one of the lowest product failure rates in the industry, and confidently back it up with a generous 3-Year Warranty program. You may not use the Image in any way that might prejudice the reputation of Music Tribe, or the distinctiveness, validity or goodwill of any of its brands. The little mixer is quite straight forward, the mixer uses thee 9volt PP3 batteries, two are used as the supply to the mixer in a 9-0-9 configuration, and the third for the 18v Phantom supply, but no step-up circuit, it uses one of the supply batteries to add to the phantom battery to make the 18v, this I consider a very poor arrangement as it means there is a higher drain on one of the main 9v supply batteries meaning the 9-0-9v will quickly become 9-0-8, then 9-0-7 volts etc etc, and if you have hungry mic’s like mine you will quickly have a lop-sided supply with it’s obvious problems, even when on its original mains PSU the phantom supply is barely 20 volts, but this is academic as I don’t have its original PSU. The pan knob now adjusts the balance between the left and right outputs, with the centre position allowing signal to both the left and right outputs.

The main difference between this 2001B and most if not all other Behringer mixers is it can be battery powered from it's internal batteries, -it works well on battery too! the Software, which may include patches, bug fixes, updates, upgrades, and other modifications ("Updates"). The only way to do this is to either turn the volume down or turn the gain down, and it's not easy to bring those faders back to their exact location each time. With so many XLR inputs, I have no issues with having enough microphones for my singers to use and still have my personal microphone to use. This is a terrific little mixer for small bands, especially for bands which need some amplification but which need to play away from electrical outlets.
